It is starting to get lost the origin of this holiday, although it is since 1952 when this activity about decorating the streets with flower carpets becomes a contest competing each street to see who decorate the streets, balconies and terraces better. This festival declared First National Festival Artistic Interest ends with the procession of the Blessed Sacrament, together with giants, pubillas and children who have made their First Communion during the year.
